Six youngsters are performing Community Service supervised by probation officer Tony. They are party girl Alisha, ladette Kelly, cocky Nathan, shy arsonist Simon, Curtis an ex-athlete disgraced for drug-taking and aggressive Gary. They are caught up in a freak storm which affects them all except Gary who is indoors at the time cleaning his hat.As a result of being touched by the storm Kelly can hear peoples'- and animals' - thoughts, Alisha can get others sexually turned on merely by touch, Curtis can turn back time and Simon become invisible. Only Nathan,to his annoyance, has no special powers. Tony is changed into a psychopathic monster who kills Gary and almost kills Kelly but Curtis turns back time to save her. The quintet are collecting rubbish with Nathan still annoyed to have no super power when they see a nude man in an underpass, who scuttles off. Simon thinks it's a werewolf but it's actually Jeremy, Nathan's mother's boy-friend who, also caught in the storm, believes he is a Jack Russell dog from time to time. Whilst working at an old folks' home Nathan falls for another helper, Ruth, a pretty blonde and while they are having sex she turns into a very old lady. It turns out that she too was caught in the storm and was rejuvenated as a result but has now changed back into her elderly self and eventually dies. Someone is leaving messages on the gang's lockers, suggesting they know what happened to Tony. Could this be Shygirl 18,with whom Simon is communicating on the internet? Written by don @ minifie-1

Alisha reveals her feelings for Curtis. They aim for a relationship but must be careful,given her powers. Shygirl 18 proves to be Sally,girl-friend of the dead Tony,who is suspicious about his disappearance though Simon booked a one-way flight in Tony's name,using his visa card,to imply he had left the country.Workmen are digging the ground where the bodies were buried so the group have to move them into another hole. Curtis agrees to turn back time at the request of ex-girl-friend Sam,who went to prison following the drugs bust. His initial attempt is unsatisfactory as Sam gets stabbed and in the present Tony kills all his friends because he was not there to save them. However,he sets things right and starts dating Sam again - which,considering his feelings for Alisha, causes complications.Sally's suspicions about the group are confirmed when she finds Tony's credit card in Simon's locker. After having sex with Alisha whilst Sam is looking for him, Curtis eventually sorts things out so that Alisha is his only girlfriend. Nathan abducts a baby called Finn to the horror of his friends. Due to the storm Finn, who lives with his single parent mother Rebecca, has acquired powers that convince Nathan that the child needs a father - him.
