The newspaper is shooting a TV ad and Balki gets selected to be in it. But after taking acting lessons from Larry, things don't go as planned.

Larry learns that people are taking advantage of Balki's being privy to certain information. So he tells him not to tell them anything. But when a car Larry wants to buy is available and he can't get the salesman to haggle on the price. So he tries to see if he has enough to pay for it. Larry learns that Vince Lucas, the criminal he and Balki testified against in the episode, Can I get a Witness, has been released. He tries to reach Balki but couldn't so he rushes home to tell him. But what he doesn't know is that Lucas is already there. It seems he and Balki have corresponding with each other and Balki invites him to stay with them till he starts his new job as a photographer. Balki is excited about a visit from his grandmother, but Larry must break the news to him that Yaya Biki died on the way to Chicago.
