With two weeks to go before the EU referendum Gerry leads his Brexit battle-bus, aided by the veteran campaigner Spencer, some of whose remarks do not sit well with the younger Jackie and Preeya whilst Conservatives Sara and Oliver are in the Remain camp under the dithering Tony, who seems unsure of his opinion. With a week to go before the vote both sides are full of the riots at the European Cup though Tony in the Remain's Unity party is preoccupied with a forthcoming visit from the prime minister and his colleague Sara with the fact that he never told her he was married when they had sex. The Brexit team argue over the order of their speeches in the debate whilst Jackie and Gerry have another dilemma - whether to tell Spencer they saw his girlfriend Malgosia with another man. In a plane over the Atlantic Trump's spin-doctors learn that not everybody shares their faith in him whilst in Moscow party men Oleg and Alexi are engaged in a little match fixing. Whilst Spencer's colleagues feel obliged to keep the truth about his wife from him he sends angry e-mails to leading Brexit politicians who have annoyed him and in the United party Sara is still aggrieved following her night with Tony but the group has also to contend with an accidental raid on a zoo and the loss of the list of things not to say. Trump's camp attempt to seek damage limitation over his controversial views in the light of a murderous attack on a gay club and his ungentlemanly criticism of rival Hillary Clinton and the Russians plot to counter accusations of their Olympic games team failing drugs tests. The result of the vote is announced with Brexit the winners. Preeya is hopeful for a parliamentary seat - though she is not what she seems - and everybody else regards the result as an anti-climax, except Unity's Ruby, who is too dim to understand much. As Trump's plane lands in Scotland his team acknowledge his support for Brexit but also note that not all who come to meet him are friendly. In Moscow the Russians seek to capitalize on the outcome of the vote whilst attempting to doctor an unfortunate photo of Putin with a dead elk. Written by don @ minifie-1

Following prime minister Cameron's resignation the Unity unit speculates on his successor with the dim but wealthy Ruby surprising everybody with her influential connections and Sara learning rather bitterly of Tony's sexual reputation. The Brexit team narrowly lose a pub quiz where Spencer, gleeful about the upheaval in the main political parties and the England team's poor performance, is brought down to earth when Jackie tells him the truth about his girl-friend.; He claims to know already but his diatribe against modern footballers suggests otherwise. Meanwhile Trump's advisors seek to regain some of his lost credibility and whilst the Russians celebrate Iceland's mauling of the England soccer team the older Oleg is wary of young Alexi's influence with Putin. In the aftermath of the Chilcot report, slating Tony Blair's invasion of Iraq her colleagues must explain to dim Ruby who Tony Blair is but following a debate over the new Tory leader Sara manages to fell all her opponents. At Spencer's wedding - which does go ahead - Gerry is surprised when Jackie announces that she is forming her own online party and grateful when she sorts out his father's funeral arrangements. As Trump's returns to the States Lauren begins to despair of his extremism and is even more aghast by Bea's ultra right wing speech to his supporters on landing whilst in Moscow Oleg's scheme to deprive Alexi of Putin's regard goes rather too well.
