Three young extreme sport enthusiasts (surfer Tori, skateboarder Shane, and motocross biker Dustin) spend their afternoons together at the Wind Ninja Academy, where the future stealth protectors of the Earth are trained in secret. Though they're considered to be the three least dedicated of the students, the trio's potential and good nature comes to an advantage when they run late for class one afternoon. It just so happens, that day, Lothor, a banished evil ninja, comes back to the planet and conquers every Ninja Academy with his hoard of Evil Alien Ninjas! With their shape-shifting Sensei trapped in the form of a guinea pig, and his grumpy and embittered tech-wizard son Cam designing weaponry to combat the villains, the three become the Wind Ninja Rangers, elemental masters of earth, air and water. They seem like cool dudes but are actually Thunder Rangers secretly working for Lothor and setting up a long, twisted scheme to bring down the Wind Rangers. They purposefully engineer a spark of discord between Dustin and his teammates by pitting Dustin's love of biking against his duties as a Ranger. And while these brothers focus on undermining our unwary heroes, Terramole sets about to undermine the foundation of their city with extensive underground tunneling. Cam is in need of the data disc for the Tsunami Cycles, which Dustin had last, all unaware that it's not only landed in the hands of the evil Thunder Rangers, but has been used to give them their own Cycles! This leads to the first confrontation between the Wind and Thunder Rangers, and as if our heroes didn't have it bad enough, they also face Zurgane! Sensei sends them to botanist Dr. Belrab for more information, much to the chagrin of Cam. Frustrated with always having to stay at Ninja Ops, he takes it upon himself to visit Dr. Belrab, much to the surprise of the Rangers. Shane decides to follow Cam as he leaves to make sure he doesn't get into trouble while Tori and Dustin visit the botanist and are captured. Soon under attack by Calzaks, Shane is stunned to discover that Cam can defend himself very well. Despite this, Sensei expresses his disapproval and explains his concern to his son, adding that he will never let Cam be a Power Ranger because of a promise he made long ago. As Tori and Dustin work to free themselves and Dr. Belrab, they discover a lot more than they expected, with things taking a turn for the worse when their Ninja powers are no match for the malevolent vines that are growing ... Since only Tori passed Sensei's latest training test of mind over muscle, she's assigned to seek the Jade Turtle while the boys, unobtrusively, get to guard the First Annual Blue Bay Harbor Environmental Conference. As union rules prevent all but Marah and Kapri from interrupting Tori's quest, the alien Snipster starts spreading chaos by cutting off people's ability to agree with each other, setting all at the conference - including Dustin and Shane - violently against one another. She later talks to Shane and Dustin about what she's learned, but they are hesitant. Meanwhile, Hunter and Blake make their way onto Lothor's ship, and things go awry. As temperatures across the globe drop at an alarming rate, the confused Rangers find themselves stranded on a deserted island. Lothor looks on gleefully as the Thunder Rangers battle the Wind Rangers up until Blake and Hunter begin to come to their senses. Toxipod, now as the more formidable Supertoxipod, is sent down as a distraction while Choobo and Lothor make a diabolical twist - sending Hunter on a murderous rampage against his own brother, whom the Wind Rangers must now turn to protect. They find Hunter who struggles to find himself in his rage, forcing Blake to take matters into his own hands. Cam discovers where the Rangers are and contacts them; the Rangers find that there's only one way to make it off the island, but it's very risky. They are freed thanks to their new friends, but things take a turn for the worse when Choobo reveals just how powerful he truly is by casting a spell to control the Wind Rangers so that they will destroy the Thunder Rangers against their will! There are many more surprises in store for the young warrior when he meets his mom and dad as teenagers, and discovers that his father has a brother, Kiya! Kiya is determined to take a mesmerizing emerald amulet from Miko, Cam's mother. Cam interferes with his attempt and is later accused when it appears that Cam has stolen the amulet. His father, Kanoi, uncovers the truth which leads to a face-off between Cam and Kiya. Later, time runs out and Cam reluctantly leaves to save the other Rangers, armed with a special gift from his mother. Meanwhile, the spell that froze time so that Cam could time travel to the past is wearing off, leaving the powerless Rangers to face a gigantic monster. Written by Anonymous

The Rangers are still reeling from their latest surprises when they are ambushed by Lothor. Barely managing to escape and retrieve their powers, each of them is forced to fight a new monster alone. Cam is bitten by an alien insect monster and struggles to manage his duties as he starts turning into a bug. Sensei reveals to him how to undo the condition, which seems impossible. Cam's personality has turned around completely to the point that he's more like Dustin than, say, himself. While he's, without a doubt, suddenly better than all the other rangers at everything, he also doesn't seem even remotely interested in being a ranger anymore. Meanwhile, a new monster in town starts turning people into perfume and collecting them in bottles. The rangers get incensed when Cam does nothing to help and Dustin and Tori are likewise captured. Marah and Kapri convince Lothor to make a television show that will make him more likable. New monster/alien producer Mr. Ratwell assures Lothor he can create a show to make him well-liked and offers to use love potion tablets as a backup plan. Lothor, disgusted with the idea of using love potions, tosses them aside, but Marah and Kapri snap them up to use on a Power Ranger to help them take over Earth. Their clumsiness, however, makes Cam and Blake fall in love with Tori instead, becoming combative rivals for her affections. Even more problems arise, after Tori is captured, when a strong love spell cast through television puts all female viewers of Lothor's new show into a frenzy and sets them upon Dustin, Shane and Hunter. It's up to Tori to help Cam and Blake come to their senses before using their Ranger powers to destroy each other. Written by Anonymous

Hunter is disappointed when he becomes a mentor to a boy, Charlie, who resents him. He feels a kinship with this young boy when he discovers that they have something in common but is frustrated that he can't get though to him. Meanwhile, everyone's in trouble when Marah and Kapri lose something of significant value to Lothor. Confusion arises when strange things begin to happen during the rangers' battles. Finally, Marah and Kapri find what they're looking for when it falls into the hands of Charlie who, naturally, doesn't recognize it for what it is. Meanwhile, Marah feels left out when her new friend Beevil joins the crowd and Marah ends up rejected. Distraught, Marah leaves, only to run into Dustin, who, after getting over the shock of recognition, consoles her with a suggestion that presents her options. In return, she gives him something to supposedly help the Power Rangers defeat Beevil. Dustin sees the good in her; the other Rangers see danger. Can Marah be trusted? Written by Anonymous

After Shane and Sensei accidentally switch bodies, Sensei must go into battle as the Red Ranger while Shane must stay and watch. Cam attempts to fix it afterward, but another setback makes Sensei and another ranger switch bodies. Meanwhile, Marah and Kapri try to destroy the Power Rangers all on their own and are completely confused by the rangers newfound skills. Written by Anonymous

A shady businessman's attempt to muscle Kelly out of her store prompts Dustin to step in as the Yellow Ranger. The action makes him a local hero and a fan favorite, which starts going to Dustin's head, putting him at odds with his teammates and threatening his friendship with Shane (who's envious). Meanwhile, as intergalactic mailman Slob Goblin has the lick to turn people into stamps, Blake and Hunter go through the woods to their adopted grandmother's remote house where something other than a big bad wolf awaits them. When Hunter's top end blows, it puts Blake and Hunter in touch with a mousy moto-genius named Perry. Efforts to recruit him into forming a pro racing team with them fail due to the mechanic's current focus on a special project. His project, however, literally takes a life of its own, and Motodrone, an evil melding of man and machine, is born. He mops the abandoned back lots with the Rangers and captures Crimson Ranger Hunter, turning him into a personal living battery. When an onlooking Lothor discovers Motodrone is not a friend of his nieces (as they've claimed), he's all for recruiting this evil stranger in their shared quest for world dominance and sends aid. Shane is confused and overwhelmed when he learns the truth about his nightmares and their link to his past. Meanwhile, Lothor discovers that there's an old acquaintance that may be trouble and is curious as to why this person has shown up. Unfortunately, Lothor catches wind of it and sends Motodrone to fetch it as well. In the ensuing scuffle, an ancient warrior spirit named Shumazu is awakened, adding to Lothor's army. Shimazu has merged his three Wolfblades into one giant three-headed terror-mutt, but with a lull in fighting, thoughts and attentions turn back towards the TV talent show. Not for long, though, and Cam asks the Rangers to turn over their power discs so he can open a portal described by the artifact. Waiting just outside the portal, Shimazu and his giant three-headed Wolfblade wait to ambush the unwary Green Ranger. The other Rangers come to his aid but are only able to run their zords as civilians, unable to take any direct power blasts. Written by statmanjeff

Vexacus has Goldwinger send Tori to the Gold Dust Dimension where everything is opposite. Kalzaks are helpful, Kelly's goth, Lothor is mayor of Blue Bay Harbor, and Power Rangers terrorize the city. As nice as much of it is, it doesn't take long for her to realize there's no place like home as she helps these put-upon citizens deal with their Power Ranger problem. Written by statmanjeff

They know of no Power Ranger involvement, which Shane, unfortunately, must keep secret and swallow their low opinion of him. Meanwhile, Lothor's latest recruit, Eyesaac, begins to spread panic through the city through an ability to make people envision their worst fears, eventually including a few Power Rangers. Tori gives the guys a ride when they decide to go out camping. Though ambushed en route, it's not enough to cancel their plans. Meanwhile, after being ridiculed and his rank threatened (by even Lothor himself), Zurgane hatches an interesting plan to eliminate the Power Rangers, not knowing that Vexacus has plans of his own. Zurgane's Zord is obliterated by the Rangers, but the general escapes along with collected data from the Rangers' attacks. He uses it to create the virtually undefeatable HyperZurgane Zord, which cripples the Hurricane Megazord. When Sensei Guinea Pig decides its time to be proactive against Lothor's forces and needs power to break into his ship, Hunter decides it's time to fess up and hand over his gem shards, but Vexacus knows about them and wants them. Hunter and Blake are at odds when Hunter feels Blake cheated in a qualifying race. Both are so furious that they avoid each other and refuse to back down, eventually having to settle things between them once and for all. Meanwhile, Marah and Kapri team up with Shimazu (on the run from Vexacus), each using Zords to go up against the Rangers. The Rangers are stunned at their prowess, but things take a twist for the better and at least one of the villainous three joins Zurgane and Motodrone. The Rangers get excited about participating in the U.S. Action Games, but duty calls. Coincidentally, the hidden Abyss of Evil is right at the site of these Games, filled with evil dead and about to burst. As Lothor's master plan unfolds, Marah and Kapri make known where their true loyalties lie and who'll be double-crossed. As Vexacus obliterates a Ranger Zord, leaving the remaining Rangers to search for survivors, Wind Ninja security is breached. Ops is destroyed, Cam is taken prisoner, Sensei Guinea Pig is blasted (never to be seen again), and there's every reason to believe things won't be getting any better. Written by statmanjeff

Though Ninja Ops is destroyed, the Rangers are not, and neither is Sensei (and through a happy circumstance no longer stuck in guinea pig form). Blake and Hunter break into Lothor's spaceship to rescue Cam and the captured ninja students only to find that the ship is set to self-destruct. Lothor, meanwhile, is having a go at personally destroying the last of the Ranger Zords and succeeds.
