Meanwhile, the estate agent Gribble and his family visit the lighthouse - although he'd be happier to see it demolished and replaced with something 'decent' instead. Nell is hospitalized when she claims to have been attacked by a dragon. Mr Gribble takes advantage of her absence to try to reclaim her cottage, so he can sell the land to wealthy clients. Pete and Linda aren't looking forward to the first day at their new school, especially as their new classmates have seen them rummaging around a rubbish tip looking for materials for their dad's sculptures. Pete is challenged to return to the tip at midnight, and has to face the ghost that haunts it who is said to be looking for his grandchildren. Written by Phil G

When Bronson asks where babies come from, Pete is to embarrassed to explain the truth and says they come from the cabbage patch. That night when Bronson goes out to the cabbage patch to look, to everyone's surprise, he really does find a baby there - a green baby that holds its breath and turns blue when anyone except Bronson holds it. Tiger organizes a charity pig out at school, hoping that his friends will eat the most and win. Meanwhile, Pete discovers a remote control that can pause, rewind or fast forward any person it's aimed at, but it's not long before Gribble learns about this new toy and decides to use it against Pete. When Linda falls and breaks her nose she is terrified that it will leave her ugly, and slips into a dream-world where she runs away to her aunt. While trying to persuade Bronson that Santa doesn't exist, Pete meets the real Santa who offers two wishes for each member of the Twist family. But the wishes don't turn out as well as the youngsters hoped, especially Linda's wish that Pete didn't have such a big mouth. Written by Phil G

Pete puts his underpants in the microwave to dry them, and is surprised to find that they suddenly provide him with incredible strength and speed... until he goes for a swim and they start to shrink. Pete's having no luck at all in getting a kiss from Fiona. In desperation, he turns to a mysterious fortune-teller, who gives him a lipstick that will make any female unable to resist kissing him. It works well, as Pete accidentally demonstrates with Fiona's mum, all the girls in his class at school, Miss James and even his sister, but somehow Fiona never seems to be around while he's wearing the lipstick. A strange trunk washes up on the shore near the lighthouse, but rather than holding the treasure Bronson was hoping for, it turns out to be from a circus and full of old clown outfits. When Pete touches Shovel, a ghost dog, he finds himself unable to say anything without adding the phrase without my pants. The dog leads Pete, Linda and Bronson on a hunt to find the bones of Ben Byron, Shovel's master who died trying to save the dog from drowning. But the bones make everyone around incredibly sad, much to Gribble's dismay as he hopes the town will win a 'Fun Town' competition. Written by Phil G
