As the holiday season approaches in South Park, Kyle finds himself in a bind. On the one hand, he feels left out as the only Jew when everyone is celebrating Christmas. On the other, none of the other kids believe him when he tries to tell them about Mr. Hankey, the Christmas Poo. When the real Mr. Hankey shows up, only Kyle and see him and ends up getting locked in a mental hospital. Cartman wins an environmentalism essay contest, and the prize is going to be awarded by none other than Kathy Lee Gifford. While most of the town is overjoyed, Mr. Garrison is still haunted by the memory of losing a child talent contest to Kathy, and vows to get revenge. Jimbo and Ned decide to take the boys out into the woods for their first deer hunting trip. While Kenny, Cartman and especially Kyle take to the bonding experience, Stan can't bring himself use a gun, earning Uncle Jimbo's disapproval. At night around the campfire, Cartman tells the boys the story of Scuzzlebutt, a mysterious monster with Patrick Duffy for a leg. Of course Scuzzlebutt is just a legend, isn't he? Stan is upset that his dog Sparky is, by all appearances, gay. After repeated attempts to change Sparky's ways, Stan cries out, I don't want a gay dog! causing Sparky to run away. When Stan goes looking for him, he encounters Big Gay Al and his sanctuary for gay pets. Big Gay Al helps show Stan that gay people are just like everyone else and that being gay isn't something that can just be changed. Meanwhile, the South Park football team is facing North Park for the annual game, and everyone is depending on quarterback Stan to help the team beat the spread. Kyle can't keep his new elephant at home because it's too big. After learning about genetic engineering in class, however, he finds a solution to his problem: splice the genes from his elephant with Cartman's pot-bellied pig to produce miniature pet elephants. Stan's Grampa wants to die because he's too old, but he needs Stan's help to do it. Meanwhile, the town's parents have become outraged by Terrance and Philip, the new TV show consisting of nothing but fart jokes that all the kids are crazy about. When the parents go to protest the network and leave the kids to fend for themselves, Grampa takes this opportunity to convince Stan to help him end it all. Kenny gets killed by the falling Mir space station as the kids are waiting to go to school. At the morgue, a bottle of Worcestershire sauce accidentally gets mixed into Kenny's embalming fluid, causing him to arise from the dead as a brain-hungry zombie. Each person he bites turns into a zombie as well, and soon South Park is overrun with them. Only Chef recognizes the danger, but when he gets bitten too, how will the children save themselves? As Thanksgiving approaches, the boys see a TV ad asking for people to sponsor starving children in Ethiopia. They decide to give it a try, motivated less by the thought of helping someone less fortunate, than by the offer of a sports watch for every sponsor. Expecting their watch to arrive, the boys are surprised to find an Ethiopian boy delivered to their door. When the mix-up is discovered, the FBI quickly swings into action, only to ship Cartman to Ethiopia instead. A new student arrives at South Park Elementary when his father comes into town on business. In this case, however, Dad is the Dark Lord Satan himself and the child is his son, Damien. Satan is in town to challenge Jesus to a one-on-one showdown of good versus evil on Pay-Per-View. While his father trains for the match, Damien has a hard time fitting in at school. While on a field trip, Cartman discovers what looks like an ancient Indian arrowhead. He tosses it away as garbage but Kyle decides to keep it in his room. Soon after, a strange woman who keeps insisting she's an important star arrives in South Park demanding the stone. Little do they know the woman is actually Barbra Streisand, who is seeking the stone to unlock the terrible power it holds. Cartman begins to wonder why all the kids at school have fathers but him. When he asks his mother who his real father is, she tells him about the night of the drunken barn dance, when he was conceived.
