Following Jessica's departure Harvey and Louis need to come together to keep the place afloat. But Harvey's preoccupied of trying to get Mike to come back. MIke tries to find a job but his past--being a convicted felon doesn't help. He goes to see his friend, Father Walker who gets him a teaching job. Harvey tries to find a way to let Mike practice law but his attempt ends up driving a wedge between him and Mike. Louis does some shady things to keep the firm afloat. After signing a plea deal to spare his colleagues at Pearson Specter Litt, Mike is confronted with the harsh realities of prison life. Meanwhile the once bustling Pearson Specter Litt offices feel like a ghost town. The firm will have to deal with the fallout from Mike's crime before they can begin to rebuild.

Louis goes to court to settle the lawsuit but Elliot Semple, shows up and insists that his company was excluded. So Harvey tries to talk to him. Rachel goes to visit Mike in prison because Donna arranged it. But when she arrives she is told because Mike got into a fight so his visitation privileges were revoked. Rachel goes to see Harvey and he goes to see Mike who tells him about Frank Gallo whom he had the fight with. Harvey sets out to take care of it. Jessica wants Harvey to meet with a potential client but Harvey doesn't like the man. Jessica tells him he needs to land a (wealthy) client and he decides to pursue Nathan Sutter who makes Harvey jump through hoops and tells him when they should meet and if he's late he's out. But Harvey goes to see Mike and is late. But Harvey tries to find a way to get him to reconsider. And Jessica tells Louis to lease out the space but he doesn't like the ones he meets. Eventually he leases to an investment company because the guy he meets with is up to his standards but he realizes that he sends someone else whom Louis clashes with. Harvey and Sean Cahill launch a plan to get Mike to take a deal, but Harvey calls an audible at the last minute. Rachel takes a case involving a death row inmate. Jessica steps in to settle a dispute between Louis and their new tenant.

The plan to get Mike out early becomes more complicated when Harvey and Sean Cahill become opposing counsel. Rachel needs a new sponsor for her death row case. Louis needs Donna's help buying a summer home to get a woman.

Harvey learns the truth about Sutter's algorithm. Cahill prepares to depose Sutter and Kevin. Jessica signs Sutter's business. Harvey takes Sutter to prison to prepare for their deposition where Kevin has a row with Sutter. Kevin admits the truth about his algorithm. Sutter forces Harvey for dismissal. New developments threaten the deals to get both Mike and Frank Gallo out of prison, forcing Mike and Harvey to improvise. Rachel disagrees with Jessica's strategy in the Leonard Bailey case. Louis gets another round of bad news from Tara.

After Mike is released, Harvey offers him a job. Harvey and Jessica learn that some of their oldest clients are thinking of moving to another firm. Jessica's too busy with the Leonard Bailey trial to deal with it so she has Harvey handle it. He goes to speak to their client and he learns it's not the client but one of his people who's behind it. He's using what happened between Harvey and Sutter as a means to show that Harvey can't be trusted, so that he could remove the client and take his place. The client says if they want to keep his business, Jessica or Louis needs to appear at the board meeting. But Louis is preoccupied with his relationship with his relationship with Tara especially after she drops a bomb on him. The clinic's case for Sofia Price takes a turn and Mike tries to handle it. But he learns there's more going on than just an eviction. Rachel gets a letter from the bar that her meeting's been canceled. She gives it to Louis who gives it to Harvey who goes to see a member of the bar who says this is just a mistake but he tells Harvey he wants his help with something. Harvey then tells Louis what the guy asked him to do and asks Louis to look into it. Louis tells Harvey his plans with Tara. Harvey and Mike team up to take on Velocity for Mike's admission in the bar. Meanwhile Lewis tries to retain a huge client on his own.

Harvey persuades Craig Seidel to have Mike admitted to the New York Bar if Seidel agrees to drop a potentially ruinous lawsuit against a business competitor (Velocity Data Solutions). When Mike finds out he refuses to consent to the deal as he feels obligated to continue his Legal Clinic's unconnected class action for damages against Velocity. In order to try and find a way to alllow Mike admission to the Bar and continue his class action at the same time, Harvey and Louis look for evidence to discredit Velocity's CEO James Palmer and discover a witness who can testify that Palmer had once committed corporate espionage, forcing Palmer to reconsider his compensation offer for Mike's class action. Meanwhile Donna starts looking for a venture capitalist to help market the 'DONNA' personal assistance device which she and IT technician Benjamin created. Written by EdinaJambo

All Harvey and Mike's work comes down to one hearing, but there's still one more challenge neither of them saw. Louis tries his best to resolve his fight with Tara, but is there any going back from what he told her.
