Jack Taylor is an Irish television drama based on a series of novels by Ken Bruen. Set in Galway, the series stars Iain Glen in the eponymous role of Jack Taylor, a former officer with the Garda Síochána who becomes a "finder" after leaving the service. Taylor is a man who goes looking for clues where others have not bothered to. He also knows the streets of his hometown like the back of his hand. The series was first broadcast on TV3 in Ireland on 2 August 2010, and subsequently aired on Canvas in Belgium with Dutch subtitles. It received its UK debut on Channel 5 on 21 February 2013. The series has also been made available on DVD. It has received mixed reviews from critics. Bernice Harrison of The Irish Times felt the series was spoiled by Glen's voiceovers, which gave the character the feel of a gumshoe in a film noir. But David Stephenson of the Daily Express said he had been hooked by the first episode's strong opening sequence. A real-life private investigator interviewed by The Guardian's Laura Barnett said that he found the series entertaining, but that it did not always give an accurate portrayal of his profession.

Dragon Booster is a Canadian animated series first broadcast in 2004. It follows the story of young Artha Penn, a stable boy who rides Beaucephalis, the dragon of legend. He becomes a Dragon Booster, a hero to protect the world from the impending Dragon-Human war and unite humans and dragons for all time. Many of the characters are named after characters from the tales of King Arthur. Artha Penn being a play on words for Arthur Pendragon. Moordryd is for Mordred Le Fey, and Lance Penn is for Lancelot. This series is produced in cel shaded CGI. As the series has not made any new episodes with no plans to due to cancellation, there are many online petitions made by fans in hopes of scoring a continuance into the second incarnation Dragon Booster Academy.

Tiny Toon Adventures, is an American animated comedy television series produced by Amblin Entertainment and Warner Bros. Animation and was broadcast from September 14, 1990 through May 28, 1995. It follows the adventures of a group of young cartoon characters who attend the Acme Looniversity to become the next generation of characters from the Looney Tunes series. Conceived in the late 1980s by producer Tom Ruegger, the cartoon was the first animated series produced by the collaboration of Steven Spielberg and Warner Bros. Animation during the animation renaissance of the late 1980s and early 1990s. The pilot episode, "The Looney Beginning," aired as a prime-time special on CBS on September 14, 1990; while the series itself was featured in first-run syndication for the first two seasons. The last season was aired on Fox Kids. The series ended production in 1992 in favor of Animaniacs, however, two specials were produced in 1994. On July 1, 2013, Tiny Toon Adventures began airing on the Hub Network.

Four small time criminals plan a robbery of an illegal underground casino but their robbery hits a snag as two bored college kids steal their getaway car mid heist. This throws them into a frenzy as it hindered their getaway and allowed the owner of the casino, Marcus, to catch a glimpse of them and thus seek revenge by putting a hit out on them with ruthless loan shark Duke. Unbeknownst to the robbers, Duke bankrolls the casino operation. The robbers also borrowed money from Duke to play in the casino to get the scope of the place. Also in the wrong place at the wrong time was Nikki, a hot shot poker player who put it all on the line trying to build a nice nest egg. Having lost all she had in the robbery, she is now forced to work as a waitress while dreaming of what might have been, and eager to get back at the tables for a game she can't afford to lose. Mind Your Language is a British comedy television series which premiered on ITV in late-1977. Produced by London Weekend Television and directed by Stuart Allen, the show is set in an adult education college in London and focuses on the English as a Foreign Language class taught by Mr Jeremy Brown, portrayed by Barry Evans, who had to deal with a motley crew of foreign students. Three series were made by LWT between 1977–79, and the show was briefly revived in 1986 with six of the original cast.
