Chuck is as startled as by his flash concerning nuclear terrorist Farrokh Bulsara when he asks for a gaming champion looking exactly like deadbeat Jeff. The team works out Jeff actually holds the world record for a game devised by Morimoto, who hid in it the secret to control a satellite capable of starting World war III. General Beckman finds intelligence that suggests Guy had a list of Fulcrum Agents. She orders the team to find the list. This causes some problems when Chuck tries to rekindle his romance with Jill. Chuck's nerd herd was prepared for the Christmas shopping rush, not apparently mentally instable Nathan Edward 'Ned' Rhyerson crashing in his car trough the front glass and taking everyone hostage without clear demands. Awesome is among the hostages with Ellie, but refrains his natural heroism long enough at Chuck's urging. Casey and Sarah fail to extract unwilling Chuck separately and end up hostages, Casey even loses a toe. Police detective Mauser, the negotiator in charge, alas also makes Chuck flash. A flash from Chuck indicates Jihadist terrorist killer Achmed Gambir is after him, so the trio is assigned to protect Tyler, in this case Chuck openly, posing as record label official, with Casey and Sarah as backup. A new mission has Chuck and Sarah posing as a married couple and interacting with some odd neighbors. The Buy More crew help Big Mike out after his wife files for divorce.

Chuck would like to help buddy Morgan win back Anna, who now dates flashy Jason Wang. Alas, a flash shows he's part of a triad, so the general orders him to make friends with Jason so the team can spy on them, discovering a plot against the Chinese ambassador. To Chuck's despair, Morgan's safety isn't even a priority. Awesome promised Ellie, in his half of the wedding preparations, to book a band, but takes pity on eager nerd herd losers 'Jeffster' (Jeff and Lester). Written by KGF Vissers

Chuck's sister Ellie ask Chuck to break up with Sarah, but soon jealousy hits home when Sarah must seduce a handsome agent in order to retrieve the Fulcrum intelligence. Morgan can't deal with the fact that his mother and Big Mike have a relationship and to the dismay of Ellie and Awesome he crashes at Chuck's place. Meanwhile, Jeff and Lester talk Big Mike into hiring a new employee but instead end up searching for the Buy More Babe. Written by davron

Cole Barker's abduction by kidnapping causes the team to going red alert, but the MI5 ace, whom even Casey admires, not only held out extensive torture, he escaped and came warn them Fulcrum is after Defense Department scientist Perseus, one of the architects of the intersect. Despite their implicit rivalry for Sara, they collaborate well at the Italian consulate to find and save Perseus, whom Chuck hopes in vain may help him remove the Intersect. Meanwhile Jefster helps Morgan trying to scare off Abba, who found his apartment lease and assumes she, not Chuck, is his chosen house-mate. Written by KGF Vissers

Chuck is contacted by Orion, the elusive co-designer of the Intersect, and overhears that the general wants him to help find him but won't allow removing the Intersect from his brain. The special computer Orion sends Chuck for safe contact is mistaken for a new game computer and hidden by the nerd herd, hence part of a lunatic conflict with Buy More's Beverly Hiils branch. Fulcrum is also after Orion, top agent Vincent Smith even faked his death to intrude the 'castle' as a corpse to capture Chuck, who must pretend it's safe to meet Orion but manages to leave a clue for Casey and Sara to rescue them. Captain Awesome ultimately accepts to let the nerd herd join his bachelor party when they offer to host it for free in the Buy More, which ends up producing compromising pictures Ellie gets to see. Even worse for Devon, his hospital badge is missing, a firing offense. Chuck has to impersonate him to plant a tracking device in a top-wanted Pakistani terrorist's right hand's heart, with his personal physician Dr. Mohammed Zamir keeping a watchful eye. During the operation, Chuck proves that he functions perfectly in the team despite of even better because of his close relationship with Sarah, contrary to agent Alex Forrest, whom the general sent to test them. Chuck is reunited with his long absent father Steve Bartowski, who is none other then Orion, and accepts reluctantly to return for Ellie's wedding but gets a cold welcome from her, unlike gentleman Devon. It turns out software tycoon Ted Roark, who got rich by stealing Steve's brilliant inventions and is about to launch a free operating system, suspect to spread a Fulcrum virus worldwide. Both Bartowskis are to infiltrate Roark Instruents HQ, Chuck as new employee, to prevent the launch for the government and, as their private project, try to remove the Intersect from Chuck's brain. General Beckman would abandon the search for Orion, but Chuck convinces her there remains one option, getting a Fulcrum agent to talk. Although unauthorized, who offers a deal to Jill Roberts, who confides her 'uncle' Bernie, a family friend, is ranking high enough and trusts her. Alas, at the 'engagement party' for Chuck and Jill, Bernie attacks him and has a fatal cardiac arrest. After Sara betrays to Chuck the general's plan to 'bury' the Intersect project altogether, he and Jill, tailed by Casey, find and intrude the Fulcrum HQ where Orion must be held captive. Meanwhile Emmet tricks the nerd herd in making him look good enough to a Buy More HQ inspector to be 'promoted away', but that's not the true stake. Written by KGF Vissers

The general terminates project Intersect, promotes Casey colonel and orders him to tie the loose ends: Chuck and Sara, who went AWOL to search father Steve 'Orion' Bartowski. Casey finds and ultimately captures them, but as the learned about Ted Roark's plan to program a Fulcrum force with a new Intersect Steve is forced to make, secretly reconstitutes the team to deal with him, in which process Devon, already stressed by Ellie's wedding panic, must be initiated in Chuck's secret. Steve ma,ages to remove the Intersect from Chuck's head. At the Buy More, Emmett blackmails Morgan to become his slavish assistant manager to spare his openly hostile mates dismissal, until an alternative plan hatches. Written by KGF Vissers

Father Steve 'Orion' Bartowski managed to wipe the Intersect from Chuck's brain, so he resigns from the Buy More, happily followed by Casey, who is promoted colonel and assigned to a mission in Afghanistan. Steve's return promises to make Devon and Ellie's wedding perfect, except for Chuck who learns Sara is also reassigned, paired up with Bryce, the new Intersect. But on the big day, Ted Roark turns up with Fulcrum goons, demanding the Intersect control cube or the wedding will become a bloodbath. Casey's Marine veteran mate Miles turns on their CIA team but spares his life as a return favor. Bryce is in for surprises of his own. Written by KGF Vissers
