During a performance of the world famous circus-act Cirque du Soleil the young investor Robert O'Brien's body is found dead on stage, apparently having shot himself. The gun belonged to co-investor Joe Hirschoff, who inherits his Eclipse shares and was deep in debt; however a rare muscular disease can explain O'Brien's finger position. In the Las Vegas club Ka, the young Celia Noel's body is found on stage; security cameras noticed her slip in back-stage with Arnie Clifton. Brass receives a high-profile honor, but puts the plaque away considering he committed an unforgivable rookie's error. The next morning Catherine wakes up naked in a bedroom, neither hurt nor robbed, but takes the evidence in rape-cases from herself. Written by KGF Vissers

A terribly violent gang wearing hoods terrorizes Las Vegas with blind violence. First a Latino man is beaten to death during a robbing, then a Jewish female tourist is kicked in hospital so she fears for permanent maiming. Yet it becomes clear that racism isn't the motive when Greg Sanders reports he's witnessing an attack on a white man, but when he tries to chase them in his jeep is attacked, dragged out and also lands in hospital. Fortunately there is plenty of physical evidence, clearly linking the attacks, which Gregs shocked CSI colleagues are now most eager to process and link to young suspects... Written by KGF Vissers

Grissom, Willows and Sidle investigates the murder of 65 year old Penny Gardner who was apparently pushed through her living room window and bled to death from the cuts she sustained. The woman suffered from advanced cancer but they can find no painkillers in her house leading them to initially explore robbery as a motive. When the miniature killer leaves his calling card however, they know who they are dealing with. Greg Sanders attends the coroner's inquest into the death of Dimitrius James whom he struck and killed with his car in order to prevent him from killing someone. Written by garykmcd

The CSI team investigates the death of identical twins at opposite ends of town within just a few hours of each other. Willows believes the cases have to be related but Grissom isn't so sure. Amanda Sinclair was a happily married mother who was simply dropping off her dry cleaning when she was shot in the parking lot. Jill Case was the editor in chief of a major Las Vegas daily newspaper and she is found hanging in her apartment, an apparent suicide. As the investigators look into the case, they learn that the two women were both adopted and didn't know of each other's existence. When the autopsy reveals that Jill Case was strangled and the hanging staged, it becomes apparent that the two cases cannot be coincidence. Written by garykmcd

The CSI team is confronted in a short time with a series of corpses from the past, or rather two: several members of a crime syndicate from the sixties, and people associated with them. There are pictures on the scenes showing persons together, and several aliases all are taken from or based on characters from horror movies such as the Nightmare on Elm Street, Jason or Scary Movie cycles. A mysterious photographer takes pictures in the morgue but Dr. Al Robbins notices he's only pretending to be new on staff. It seems the killer assumed many identities using professional disguises and may be former cop Eddie Sanchez who stole a fortune from the mobsters... Written by KGF Vissers

Grissom and Catherine find a man caught from the waist down in cement, besides a woman who was stabbed to death. Even after a long search it only makes sense after he tells his story, confirming his bitter uttering his whole life is incredibly unlucky. Nick and Worrick discover the first of three corpses in a firm where electrocution is used for the killing and processing of poultry for human consumption; the firm had been the target of animal rights actions which damaged it badly, and some of an obsessive scale model makers works are found at three crime-scenes. Keppler proposes that Catherine create a phony crime scene to help catch a murderer, and to keep it secret from the other investigators. However, Nick quickly figures out that something is fishy.

The burned corps found in a fire in an ex-con's auto shop appears that of recently released ex-con Ross Neddy, but is a fake, made from the remains of bodies illegally robbed to harvest bones and tissues, probably also meant to give him the ideal alibi. Businessman Bill Dorton finds the bloody corps of his middle-aged wife Margo Dorton at home. She visited a pole dancing cabaret but was a client of the host club, where she enjoyed the high-priced male escort services (no sex) of Jesse Hottman, and had a scuffle with strip dancer Cotton Candy, who was obsessed with Jesse, who works same two dozen clients simultaneously... Six showgirls who live together are murdered in their home, and Sara is distressed when the final victim dies in her arms. However, she may have left Sara a vital clue that could help her ultimately identify the killer.

The for driver Champ Landley fatal shooting at and as Nick soon finds from dodgy, drug-trade-involved former boxer Drops' drive-by limo and the dragging death of a young black woman, initially confused with her older best friend because of a deliberately 'borrowed' drivers license, turn out to be related. When Greg Sanders discovers that Aaron James, the brother of the black youngster he ran over after his own mugging may have been involved, CSI chief Conrad Ecklie orders Greg completely excluded from the investigation, fearing another lawsuit. Grissom has to divide five cases between himself (an autopsy with Dr. Al Robbins), Cath, Sara and Greg. Meanwhile Hodges calls Archie and two other lab rats together to attempt inside to find the connection between the serial killer's four crime scenes, by studying the signature miniatures: perfect scale models he left -the second however was delivered later, after a modification- over nine months and the meager case files in Grissom's office. By surprise a live rat escapes from the autopsy corps. The other technicians furiously abandon him when realizing Hodges was not asked by Grissom, but he perseveres and finds a bizarre material common point... Written by KGF Vissers

The team investigates the death of Lorenzo 'Happy' Morales, a one-time ranked middleweight boxer who has fallen on hard times and is now living at Binky's Sugar Cane Ranch, a licensed brothel. Happy is found floating in the pool but the coroner is having a hard time coming up with a cause of death. Based on the evidence, they are able to prove that one of the girls hit Happy on the head with a crowbar, someone shot him through the throat with an arrow, another injected him with snake venom and finally, someone induced anaphylactic shock by exposing him to seafood in a most unique way. However, none of the evidence points definitely to which occurrence was the actual cause of death. Written by garykmcd

After an unsuccessful attempt on Lady Heather's life, Sara discovers Gil's prior relationship with her. Meanwhile, Nick investigates the death of a woman apparently hit by a taxicab.
