During a transfer of the Declaration of Independence for a high-tech reconstruction, a group of apparent Marines in an apparent Marine helo hijack the document. The PotUS awards Harm a Distinguished Flying Cross for his accomplishments during a previous story. Maj. Sarah MacKenzie, USMC, joins the JAG gang as Harm's partner; Ltjg. Bud Roberts also joins; the three of them investigate. Special agent Clayton Webb takes part in the search. Sarah has a connection to the leader of the thieves, who disguise as Marines and use Marine tactics and Marine equipment. Harm and Sarah find the leader, make a deal, and return the Declaration, and they defend him in court. Written by DocRushing

Eight years ago a court-martial convicted a Marine corporal, Magida, for espionage and sentenced him to 20 years in prison; the admiral defended him. Magida has escaped, and he now takes the admiral as a hostage in his own office. Magida gets Bud and Sarah also into the admiral's office; he demands that Harm obtain the transcript of his trial, and he complies. At the direction of Magida, a mock trial takes place, retrying the same matter; Mack prosecutes, the admiral defends, and Bud judges. Webb and others add several interesting twists. An F-14 Tomcat crashes into the sea after a catastrophic engine failure; the affected squadron has a reputation for having become jinxed. Harm, Sarah, and Bud investigate. Harm also sees Annie and Josh again. Harm again flies a Tomcat; he helps a fellow aviator, and he disproves the jinx. Annie's employer transfers her to Baltimore. During a classified and dangerous operation off the coast of Libya, a SEAL dies as a result of gunfire; the government charges the chief petty officer in charge with the premeditated murder of his best friend. In a preliminary hearing Harm and Bud prosecute, and Mac defends. Friction develops between Harm and Mac. Harm uses a forceful technique to demonstrate to the court that the weapon in question had not jammed. Harm eventually discovers the background of the dead sailor, and he deduces how the death took place; then he informs the court that he cannot prove the case against the defendant, so the judge dismisses the charge. A woman Naval aviator feels displeased while enduring the indignities as a polliwog during a traditional ceremony while crossing the equator; she then files a charge of sexual harassment against the CAG, claiming that her treatment as a polliwog was one part of a series of harassment of her by him. Harm, Mac, and Bud investigate. The CAG denies that he has taken part in any such harassment, and he explains in detail that he grounded the complainant because she's a substandard pilot who does not cut the mustard but does blame everyone and everything except herself. A gang of intruders enter the US submarine facility at Holy Loch, Scotland, then enter the home of a single woman Naval officer and kidnap her baby son. The mother is the daughter of CincPac, and the father is the leader of a faction within the Irish Republican Army. At the bidding of CincPac, A.J. sends Harm and Mac to Belfast to provide help; he refers to them as ghostbusters. They find the father, who says that some other group has seized his son. Games and deceptions abound while dealing with the IRA and the Royal Ulster Constabulary. Amid fireworks Harm and Mac find the baby, meet the mother at the US consulate, and return to the US. While the admiral and a girlfriend jog together, they encounter a nonexplosive booby trap; then Harm, Mac, and Bud question a midshipman from the Naval Academy about the accidental death of a goat, the school's mascot. In the admiral's office Harm sees a snapshot of a small Buddha, so he and Mac check it out; the admiral senses a connection with Vietnam. A small Buddha shows up at the scene of a fatal wreck, and the admiral's girlfriend dies due to an explosion at his house. Bud works out a deal for the mid. A bad guy from the past tries to con the admiral, so he, with the help of the gang, cons the conner, and Webb assures them that he'll finish the case. Written by DocRushing

Harm gives Mac a ride in his (and his father's) antique Stearman aerobatic biplane; the engine unexpectedly quits, so he must set her down off-field in a woodsy area in the Appalachian Mountains. Harm misses two appointments at the JAG headquarters, so Bud takes over for him. Meanwhile nearby three poachers shoot and kill a game warden; Harm and Mac encounter them while seeking help. One of the poachers opens fire; Harm and Mac escape into the woods, but they meet several challenges and difficulties. They remain overnight on the run and in the woods. King Josif, the fictional nonexistent King of Romania, and his daughter, Princess Alexandra, visit Washington, DC. A group of hard-line old-style Communist extremists oppose the king, who proposes to petition for admittance to NATO and to consider a US Naval base on the Black Sea. The antagonists have threatened to assassinate the princess if the king follows through. The SecNav appoints Harm as the Naval officer to escort her during the visit. Harm gets a new neighbor, who turns out to be something else. The princess finds Harm to be an interesting escort, and she makes an announcement of her own. An enlisted Marine dies during a covert operation against the home of a drug lord in Colombia; his recon team leaves his body behind. The admiral sends Harm, Mac, and Bud to Colombia to investigate; he implies that he also expects them to return the body to the US. Webb is involved in Colombia (even more so than he prefers). The Three Musketeers encounter much intrigue and deception, so they respond in kind. Harm cons the conners, and a double agent becomes a triple agent. The JAG team wins, so they take back with them not only both the dead Marine and Webb but also the drug lord (to face drug charges in a federal court in the US). Written by DocRushing

Two Marines in a recon team sustain injuries from explosions during a training exercise. Mac and Bud investigate whether the company commander, a mustang captain, has placed his men at undue risk. By the initiative of the admiral, Harm goes undercover as a gunnery sergeant. A third Marine becomes injured during another live-fire exercise. Three thugs try to rob a C store in Georgetown, but a homeless former SEAL (and former MIA and POW) intervenes and kills them; he runs and seeks refuge inside a nearby church building while Bud prays there. A large number of local hotshot hyperactive cops surround them; Bud calls Harm, then Harm and Mac rush to the scene and render help. Harm joins Bud and the SEAL, Bauwer, on the inside. After the resolution of the standoff, Bauwer stands criminal charges in a civilian court, where Harm defends him. Harm suspects the presence of an unknown witness, and Bud finds him; the witness proves to be a double surprise indeed. After courtroom hijinks the jury finds Bauwer to be not guilty. While Harm and Mac do a daily jog together, they accidentally run in front of a car; Harm shoves Mac to safety, but the car hits Harm. Mac takes him to a nearby civilian hospital; an Israeli official is a patient at the same hospital for a heart transplant that same day. During the surgery several members of the Hamas seize control of two floors of the building, to hold the official as a hostage to obtain a release of a prisoner. Harm and Mac help with the takeover, and Harm helps with a birth. After fireworks and other action everything works out, and an elderly Navy former chief petty officer lends a pair of hands in an unusual but important way. Written by DocRushing

Harm, Mac, and Bud go to the Black Sea to observe war games between the US and Russian navies; Harm and Bud go to a Russian ship, and Mac to a US ship. The two commanding officers are old enemies who try hard to settle old grudges. Troubles brew aboard the Russian ship, not the least of which is that the captain is a psychotic with a secret plan of his own for his ship and himself; he eventually loses control of himself, his crew, and his ship. Harm and Bud make the most of the situation aboard the Russian ship, and they eventually reach the US vessel in safety. Mac helps the US skipper, in part with her ability to speak and understand Russian. Written by DocRushing

Someone kills an ensign at night in a secluded spot on a beach during a romantic scene with the wife of a chief petty officer; the chief faces a charge of murder. Harm prosecutes, and Mac and Bud defend. There is a history of abuse of the wife by her husband; she first declines to cooperate with the prosecution, and she later starts to talk, but her testimony flips and flops. This case gives Mac some trouble in a personal way. Eventually some evidence arrives from an unexpected source, and the wheels of justice continue to grind. Bud and Harriet also spend time together.
